Join festival authors and Room staff and volunteers as we kick offGrowing Room 2018 with a launch party at the Fox Cabaret, featuring opening remarks by Room’s managing editor Chelene Knight and editorial board member Nav Nagra, feminist-themed drinks, and music by Too Attached.

Too Attached is two siblings: VIVEK SHRAYA and Shamik Bilgi. The band grew out of their childhood history of singing Hindu devotional songs together in Edmonton, obsessing over pop and R&B as teenagers, and informal collaborations throughout their individual decade-long artistic careers. They toured their first EP (Bronze, 2015) across Canada while opening for Tegan and Sara, and their new album, Angry, will be released on February 1, 2018.
