Join festival authors and Room staff and volunteers as we kick offGrowing Room 2018 with a launch party at the Fox Cabaret, featuring opening remarks by Room’s managing editor Chelene Knight and editorial board member Nav Nagra, feminist-themed drinks, and music by Too Attached.
Too Attached is two siblings: VIVEK SHRAYA and Shamik Bilgi. The band grew out of their childhood history of singing Hindu devotional songs together in Edmonton, obsessing over pop and R&B as teenagers, and informal collaborations throughout their individual decade-long artistic careers. They toured their first EP (Bronze, 2015) across Canada while opening for Tegan and Sara, and their new album, Angry, will be released on February 1, 2018. https://tooattached.bandcamp.com/
