The History of Gunpowder is back from their European Tour and is excited to release The Epileptic Vol 1. for Canadian audiences at The Fox! THIS RARE NIGHT WILL BE FILMED AND RECORDED!! So come with your FREAK flag. The History will be joined on stage by the incomparable CHASE THE BEAR(!), opening the night up with their signature raw rock n roll. This will be one of the ONLY shows for The History in Vancouver before they go back into the studio for Volume II, finish exciting new video projects and head back over to Germany, Italy and France! They will be joined on stage by some other friends of the Vancouver music scene; EXPECT surprises! Come early, come thirsty.
Chase The Bear
Inspired by the greatest music of the past century, Chase the Bear draws inspiration anywhere from the incredible songwriting of The Beatles, the hard-hitting instrumental proficiency of Led Zeppelin, and various elements of funk, soul, and modern rock in between. Lead singer Troy Gilmore dominates the stage with his electrifying presence and smoky, powerhouse vocals while the rest of the band deliver tasty harmonies, raw musicianship, and an incredible amount of energy that rises throughout the show - a collaborative and intimate experience that ends with an explosion of talent, passion, sweat, and occasionally confetti.
