The Fox Cabaret’s newest soul night is proud to present a very special holiday event! The Soul Christmas Revue brings together live Motown/Stax soul Christmas covers with 5 different vocalists and a full band. The group is best known for coming together for the well received Amy Winehouse Tribute shows and are now looking to brighten your holidays with a little bit o’ soul. The band includes members of The Ballantynes, Chance Lovett & The Broken Hearted, The Tranzmitors & The Valuables.
Along with this star studded group we will also have the always incredible Kendal Gendr doing a special 2 song drag performance. The queen of Vancouver’s drag scene and an icon in her own right if you’ve never seen a Kendal Gendr performance we can assure you it’s not to be missed.
We will also have one the funniest standup comics in the city, Aaron Read, with a special comedy set to break the proverbial ice and get things going.
Our host and master of ceremonies will he none other than the incredible Amy Grindhouse. She’ll be keeping this Christmas train on the tracks and who knows she may even do a song of her own.
Finally joining this group will he the stellar DJs Young Royal + Flipout of Sweet Soul Music spinning the city’s choicest soul hits, gems, + party pleasers.

Ray-Cam Cooperative is a community centre in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside that provides access to family support services, day-care, out of school care and a wide variety of recreational, social and educational programming.
Ray-Cam’s goal is to encourage and support community members to utilize their strengths and gifts in the improvement of their day to day lives by providing access to programs which advance their opportunities and abilities.
Ray-Cam’s annual Spread the Cheer Campaign looks to support community members through the holiday season by providing access to gifts, toys and essential items for daily living. Last year, through your generous donations, we were able to support over 144 families in the community during the holiday season while also using financial and material donations to sustain our existing youth and family programming throughout the year. We thank you in advance for any and all donations.
