Kate Yahn is a rock/pop artist from Vancouver, BC. She combines the glamour and strength of rock n’ roll with a sophisticated storytelling edge. Often echoing the energy of Stevie Nicks, the vocal abilities of Linda Ronstadt, and the style of Debbie Harry to draw listeners in.
Yahn’s “Hung Up” (September 2023) is about the aftermath of unrequited love and the complexities of longing. The urgent, tense, synth-driven track is paired with lyrics that speak to the contradiction of loving someone you never really knew while wishing you never knew them at all. She asks the question: “How do you grieve the touch of a hand that you’ve never felt?”.
Trained in Musical Theatre in Toronto and New York, Yahn performs locally at Guilt & Co. She secured a 2023 NXNE (Toronto) showcase through a Breaking Sound performance, as well as 2023 Rifflandia Festival through a Women in Music BC Showcase (Toronto).
Bradley Barkman is a queer Vancouver soul singer with deep lows and heavenly highs. Bradley puts his whole heart on the line for his audience through voice. Expect the vocal influences of Prince, George Michael, Craig David, Christina Aguilera, and Seal on this intimate and sparkling show.
Mikki Wikki (she/they) from the Haus of Experience-Kunt, is an up and coming rising hottie, big booty shakin’, stunting & the stomping grounds of “Vancouver”. Trust and believe the party arrives as soon as she enters the function! You can catch her wiggling down on Davie Street or any queer events in East Vancouver.
Atondra, a drag performer raised in Vancouver, made her debut in October 2021. As the first daughter of House of Juku, she embodies beauty, charm, and encapsulates the Queer Asian experience. Drawing from her background in the Ballroom scene, particularly in Voguing, she infuses her movement with fluidity, precision, and of course silliness captivating audiences with her electrifying energy. Atondra is a trailblazer, leaving an indelible mark on the drag community as a transformative force of self-expression through her captivating performances.
