MRG Live is thrilled to announce Westward Music Festival will return to Vancouver, taking place on June 22nd and 23rd, 2024. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Mount Pleasant, this year's festival promises an unforgettable experience.
The centrepiece of the festival will be an outdoor stage with a capacity of 1,000 located in the parking lot of the City Centre Artist Lodge right in the heart of Mount Pleasant. Attendees can expect a dynamic atmosphere, with all artist studios open during the event, adding to the overall festival experience. As the outdoor stage winds down, the focus will switch to evening programming spread across renowned venues such as Fox Cabaret, Biltmore Cabaret, and Red Gate Arts Society, which are all conveniently located within 5 blocks of CCAL.
Confirmed acts include the endlessly creative and fiercely ambitious rapper Mick Jenkins as well as the indie pop shapeshifter Cherry Glazerr. This will be the first opportunity for each artist to perform in Vancouver following their critically acclaimed 2023 albums (Mick Jenkins’ The Patience and Cherry Glazerr’s I Don’t Want You Any More).
We are so excited to have Westward Music Festival return as it is poised to be Vancouver’s premier live music event of the summer. Westward is equal parts local and global - showcasing plenty of the amazing talent we have right here in Vancouver, while bringing in some of the most exciting emerging artists from all over the world.
